Parkinson Post Brighton
It's been a long time in coming but Charlton finally secured that illusive away win after nine games of trying after the 2-0 win at Brighton on Tuesday.
Phil Parkinson admitted that The Seagulls had the better of the early exchanges but in the end thought that we were comfortable in our win, Parkinson said: "I'm very pleased with the performance. Brighton had the better start but it was quite comfortable for us in the end and it was a good night all round.
"We were very resilient, as you need to be to get a clean sheet and after weathering an early Brighton storm we showed the right qualities."
This was a much needed win and a win that (hopefully) proves that we mean business and are capable of beating the sides that we should be beating, home and away.
