Addicks (and Others) are Ready to Strike!

Charlton lie in wait should Leeds falter, and should they do this Phil Parkinson knows that we were one of three teams waiting to leap on them.

Leeds slipped to 2-0 defeat at Exeter last Saturday so our win over Wycombe meant that we closed the gap to six points, however Parkinson knows that we along with Norwich and Colchester will push them all the way, Parkinson told The Official Website: "They [Leeds] will be looking over their shoulders.

"I know ourselves, Norwich, Colchester and all the other teams don't want to make it easy for them.

"If they do get promoted, then we want to make sure we push them all the way. That's our job to do that. I know ourselves and Norwich have won - and the chase goes on."

Leeds looked to be cruising but perhaps their continued involvement in the FA Cup might work against them? I'd love us to win the title but as long as we get promoted that's the most important thing but Norwich have really hit form and Colchester will be tough as well so it'll be an interesting battle of the second half of the season that's certain.

Looking at the table Colchester are looking a bit too far adrift to challenge for the title and maybe even automatic promotion as well? However there's still plenty to play for and a win tonight brings us right onto Leed's coat tails!
