Midfielders Going Nowhere

Jose Semedo and Therry Racon have been linked with moves away from The Valley but Phil Parkinson has dismissed this speculation.

Bristol City have been linked with a 1m move for Semedo but again Parkinson said the 25-year-old midfielder isn't going and doesn't know where the rumours came from, Parkinson told The News Shopper: "As far as Semedo to Bristol City goes, I don`t honestly know where that has come from."

Racon has been reduced to a bit part players for the past couple of months and wasn't even in the squad last weekend which saw fresh speculation about the 25-year-olds future (as he's been linked with Premier League and Championship sides) however Parkinson said it was a family matter than meant him missing the Wycombe match, Parkinson added: "Racon has had a family bereavement so he`s gone back to France."

The Addicks boss was quick to dismiss talk that Nicky Bailey could leave as well last week as he doesn't feel that it send out the right message if we sell players so again I think that if we don't have to then why should we?

What is the thought among the Addicks followers on this site on Phil Parkinson's thoughts on Jose Semedo and Therry Racon? Share these feelings below so we can discuss them.
