Jackson's Loan Cut Short

Phil Parkinson had made it clear that he was keen on keeping Johnnie Jackson beyond his initial one month loan spell, however the Notts County midfielder hasn't managed to see this out.

Jackson had to come off with a hamstring injury in the win over Stockport last weekend and specialist tests have confirmed that the 27-year-old isn't going to be fit for six weeks with a pulled hamstring so he's returned to Meadow Lane.

His loan would have ended after the Millwall game anyway so even though this is disappointing Parkinson moves on, he said: "It's worse than we first feared

"It's disappointing news for Johnnie and us.

"He's done very well for us in the short time he has been here, but his loan was due to end after the Millwall game anyway, and we'll move on."

The former Spurs star had been filling in at left back due to Kelly Youga and Grant Basey's injuries so The Addicks boss was thought to be considering making another loan move, however he feels that he has a few option and with Youga back in training and being passed fit to return he thinks we'll be alright.

What is the thought among the Addicks followers on this site on Johnnie Jackson's loan ending? Share these feelings below so we can discuss them.
