Veteran and Youngster Signed

Nicky Forster and Matt Fry both joined Charlton on Thursday ahead of the loan window closing.

With striking injuries mounting Phil Parkinson has signed the veteran Forster on loan from Brighton & Hove Albion and the 36-year-old could make his debut on Saturday.

Defensive problems are also a concern for Parkinson so The Addicks boss has signed Fry from West Ham United. The 19-year-old can play in central defence or at left back.

What is the thought among the Addicks followers on this site on the loan signings of Nicky Forster and Matt Fry? Share these feelings below so we can discuss them.

From one extreme to the other! One youngster and an oldtimer. Forster played well enough on Saturday though by all accounts and does know how to score goals, and we need these.
