Borrowdale Returns to QPR

The win over Colchester United was officially the final game that Gary Borrowdale was able to feature in for Charlton with his initial one-month loan ending.

Phil Parkinson said that he was hoping to hear by Wednesday if this would be the case as he was hoping that Queen Park Rangers would allow the defender to extend his loan, Parkinson told The Official Website: "I'm hoping that the fact that Rangers beat Crystal Palace over the weekend to almost guarantee their safety in the Championship will allow us to keep him.

"He's a good player and like any loan player when he came he was short on match practice and wasn't as sharp as he would have liked to have been.

"But he's a round peg in a round hole, he's a good size, he's got a great left foot and his set-piece deliveries have been very good for us."

Until now there hasn't been any further word on this though, which I didn't know was a good or bad thing? However we now know that Neil Warnock has decided he wants to take a closer look at the left back so this loan isn't being extended.
