Clarke a Possibility for Charlton?

Clarke a Possibility for Charlton?

Charlton are thought to be one of several clubs interested in Leon Clarke.

Clarke has left Sheffield Wednesday at the end of his contract following their relegation to League 1 but is already being linked with a return to The Championship with Norwich City and Bristol City interested according to skysports.com.

The Addicks are also keeping an eye on the 25-year-old along with Cardiff City however us (and Cardiff) are waiting to know what Division we'll be playing in before making a move.

This could come too late for us as the striker might well have found a new club by the time we know our fate, particularly if we have to go via the play-offs to gain promotion?

What is the thought among the Addicks followers on this site on links to Leon Clarke? Share these feelings below so we can discuss them.

Weren't we interested in this Clarke before? It's a no go unless we get promoted, even then it's probably unlikely.
