Charlton Interest in Chilvers Confirmed

Charlton have been linked with free agent Liam Chilvers recently and Phil Parkinson has now confirmed an interest in the defender.

Chilvers played under Parkinson before during his Colchester United days and The Addicks boss is keen to be reunited with the former Arsenal youngster after he was released by Preston North End, Parkinson told The South London Press: "Liam is one of a number of players we've been looking at and I've spoken to his agent a couple of times."

The 28-year-old would make a good arrival, however the concern remains are we able to attract players to SE7 due to our financial situation?

What is the thought among the Addicks followers on this site on links to Liam Chilvers? Share these feelings below so we can discuss them.
