Former Addick Spring Joins Orient

Former Charlton midfielder Matt Spring has found himself a new club and could well come up against us next season.

Spring was released at the end of his contract but has now signed a two-year contract with our League 1 rivals Leyton Orient who, unlike us have been busy in the transfer market with the 30-year-old The O's ninth signing of the summer.

The Addicks trip to Brisbane Road to face Orient next month is being shown live on Sky Sports so a reunion with some of his former club mates could happen sooner than expected, no doubt he'll score the winning goal against us!

What is the thought among the Addicks followers on this site on Matt Spring's move to Leyton Orient? Share these feelings below so we can discuss them.

I didn't think that Spring was that bad, he wasn't that good either but not as bad as many thought. He would've been an improvement on what we have at the moment though, which isn't much!
