McCormack Arrives At The Valley

Alan McCormack's arrival at Charlton on Monday was a boost but not much of one for me personally following the shock departure of Frazer Richardson to Southampton.

I can't say that I saw Richardson's departure coming at all, however this happened so we have to move on. Gary Doherty arrived on a free transfer on Monday morning and McCormack followed him into SE7 on Monday afternoon on the same terms.

The 26-year-old midfielder left Southend United at the end of his contract and became Phil Parkinson's second arrival of the summer to give us a bit more in the middle of the park.

If McCormack can have half as much impact at The Valley as the last midfielder to arrive from Roots Hall did (Nicky Bailey of course) then we'll not do too badly.

What is the thought among the Addicks followers on this site on Alan McCormack's arrival at Charlton? Share these feelings below so we can discuss them.
