Charlton Snap Up Reid

A fourth signing has joined Charlton with Kyel Reid's return to The Valley now confirmed.

Reid's returned to SE7 after his successful loan spell last season joining us on a free transfer from Sheffield United, much to Phil Parkinson's delight, Parkinson told The Official Website: "We're delighted Kyel has agreed to join us. We've been working on the transfer throughout the summer and it's great to get it done. He's an out-and-out winger and it's an important signing.

"Kyel did well when he was with us last season and I also believe he's the type of player who will benefit from a good run of games. I know he also had offers from Championship clubs, so I know he's ready for the challenge"

The 23-year-olds arrival is starting to give us a good looking shape with some good balance to the squad, we just need Parkinson to find a striker (or two) for the likes of Reid and Scott Wagstaff to supply!

Well done Parky you're getting that squad together.

Nice one....I think he is more dangerous than Sam...and from what I have seen...give him a run in the side and some coaching and he will flourish

Seems as though you lot feel more confident now than a month ago. How do you rate your chances with the additions that you have gained.

the confidence is rising...the cup is now half full rather than half empty....still need a strong striker...but I think things are shaping up.....

Welcome back Reidy, I'm glad you've returned. I wouldn't say I'm confident about the season ahead, however, I'm a lot more hopeful than I was!!
