Parky Weighing Up Mooney Approach?

Former Charlton loanee David Mooney has been told that he can leave Reading, as he's not in Brian McDermott's long-term plans.

Mooney spent time on loan at The Valley last season and Phil Parkinson would be interested in bringing him back to SE7 on the right deal I'm sure. However the 25-year-old is understood to have plenty of admirers.

Among those interested according to Skysports.com are Huddersfield Town and they are believed to be leading the chase for the striker at the moment.

If a fee were involved for Mooney then we've got no chance of signing him, if the Irishman is leaving The Royals without one involved we'd have an outside one.

What is the thought among the Addicks followers on this site on David Mooney and a possible return to Charlton? Share these feelings below so we can discuss them.

Even if Mooney wanted to come back, and that's a long shot itself, we wouldn't be able to afford the fee.
