Can We Have Some Players Please Liverpool?

Can We Have Some Players Please Liverpool?

When Liverpool signed Jonjo Shelvey part of the agreed deal was meant to be a link up between the two clubs, so far it doesn't seem as though Charlton are gaining any benefit.

This is something that has cropped up a few times with discussions in the forum or comments made on articles with Youhavetoscoretowin someone that highlights this quite frequently, in fact with him hoping that Liverpool will soon keep up their end of the bargain and loan us a talented youngster or two?

The Premier League giant have gained Shelvey, who will be a wonderful footballer at the highest level in the future but apart from a fairly good price we've not seen anything from an apparent link up so far.

We're desperate for a striker, I can't see them letting us have Fernando Torres somehow but they must have a young striker that is ready for first team action (not quite The Premier League though) that could benefit from a season on loan in The Football League with us.

How's about it Liverpool, have you got anyone you can send us on loan?

What is the thought among the Addicks followers on this site on Liverpool loaning us a player or two? Share these feelings below so we can discuss them.

Last night's friendly showed the ability of Delle Valle, Ecclestone & Amoo. All looked very capable but not quite ready to challenge the 1st team with the likes of the exceleent Jay Spearing also featuring

I think with our new manager coming in and the fact that pretty much all our first team are still to return to full training after there World Cup exploits things are still up in the air somewhat and most are being used in the pre season games, but we do have some excellent kids as 18-5YNWA has mentioned for you to have and give some valuble experience...Dalle Valle is the one you want, he is going to be a superstar a born goalscorer and League 1 would be ideal for him at this stage. Good luck for the new season!

Thanks for that boys and good luck to you under Roy. He is a shrewd Manager, who will do well for you. Charlton would be a marvellous place for your fringe players to gain experience. Perhaps, you could rattle a few cages for us!

Good points and hopefully Hodgson will send some of those players our way, however, we're still waiting aren't we!
