Oldham Striker To Sign?

It's thought that Charlton are closing in on Oldham Athletic striker Pawel Abbott.

Abbott finished as The Latics top goalscorer last season, having joined them from Darlington a year ago. Skysports.com is reporting that an offer has been made for the striker and Oldham have accepted this.

We need a striker that can score goals and the Polish striker did this at League 1 level last season as he scored 13 goals so if he does sign and we can supply he should be able to do this at The Valley too.

Skysports.com also says that an offer has been made for another striker, who remains mysterious!

What is the thought among the Addicks followers on this site on news that Pawel Abbott is going to sign for Charlton? Share these feelings below so we can discuss them.

Compared to what we've had recently 13 makes him pretty prolific!

That was 13 goals in a relatively uncompetative side though, with decent playres around him i would expect 20 goals...unfortunately that is still 5 short of 25
