Murray's Charlton Board Announced

Monday saw the announcement that Charlton plc would be dissolved after shareholders voted strongly in favour of Richard Murray assuming complete control at The Valley.

Murray has now announced the new board, which contains David White, Stuart Butler-Gallie, Richard Hatter and managing director Stephen Kavanagh.

With the financial situation dire at SE7 Murray says that he had to act and this move secures the future of the club as he wasn't prepared to risk it being lost, Murray told The Official Website: "I'm not putting 20 years of my life and my family's fortune into this business to let it go under."

He remains keen to seek further investment at The Valley as he knows we need this.
