Racon Has No Interest In Leaving Charlton

Therry Racon is constantly linked with a move away from Charlton, as he was last week but this didn't come about.

The midfielder was being linked with a move to Greece last week, however this (like every other link in the past couple of years worth of transfer windows) didn't happen and the 26-year-old is not disappointed by this as he has no interest in leaving, Racon told The News Shopper: "Every transfer window there is speculation.

"This is my fourth season at the club and I'm happy here.

"I miss the old players but we have to move on and welcome the new players, make sure they feel comfortable and get the best out of them.

"We're all happy now."

Racon scored his first goal in well over a year last week when he helped us in to the second round of the Johnstone's Paint Trophy and this saw Phil Parkinson say that he wanted him to score more goals and this is something that Racon is aiming to do too, adding: "Last season I had a good season but I didn't score goals.

"I'm working on getting in the box more and that's something I want to improve.

"In training I'm good. I need to get more in the box and take my chance and that's what I did on Tuesday.

"I should take more of my chances. I'm working on it and hopefully I can add some more goals to my game.

"Any goal - even a scrappy one - I'll be happy with."

What is the thought among the Addicks followers on this site on Therry Racon's thoughts on his SE7 future and the extra goals he wants? Share these feelings below so we can discuss them.
