Elliot Blow For Charlton

Rob Elliot will be on the sidelines for Charlton for the next month after picking up an injury.

Elliot damaged his elbow in the win over Notts County last weekend, which the goalkeeper played a major part in helping us to achieve this feat.

The 24-year-old has chipped a bone so will be missing for Phil Parkinson for the next month or so, with The Addicks boss keen to bring in someone on loan to act as cover for Elliot or backup for Ross Worner, Parkinson said: "Obviously the news is a big blow.

"As soon as I saw Rob holding his elbow in some discomfort the alarm bells sounded.

"We've got Ross, who has done well since he has been here, but we need to bring in another keeper to cover us before the weekend and I'm working hard to make that happen."

What is the thought among the Addicks followers on this site on Rob Elliot's injury? Share these feelings below so we can discuss them.

Far from ideal isn't it, Worner looks like his real chance will come along though.
