Dailly Close To A Return

Christian Dailly looks ready to return to full training next week having been given the all clear to do so, which could see him return to action by next weekend.

Dailly has been out after fracturing his eye socket against Dagenham and Redbridge, however having come through a non-contact training session the veteran will return to full training next week.

How the Scot comes through that will make a difference as to when he returns, Tim Breacker said: "Christian will hopefully be training next week. We've just got to see how it goes. He joined in a non-contact session which he came through no problem.

"The surgeon said by Monday he can resume full training and we will just go from there.

"Hopefully if he comes through that with no problems we can assess it again but they are good signs."

The defender, providing he comes through training successfully should be able to return fairly quickly as he's been able to keep up his fitness levels by working in the gym regularly since his injury.
