'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Former Addick Finds A New Home

He's been without a club since leaving Charlton in the summer but finally Grant Basey has managed to fix himself up with someone after joining Barnet.

Basey has signed a short-term contract with The Bees through until January and could make his debut for them tonight.

The 21-year-old had spent a period on trial with Aberdeen, however the Scottish side couldn't afford to sign the defender so he was left without a club until now and will look to rebuild his career with the League 2 strugglers.

I thought that Basey would at least be able to find himself another club at League 1 level so I'm a little surprised the Welshman hasn't, good luck to him though anyway.

What is the thought among the Addicks followers on this site on Grant Basey signing for Barnet? Share these feelings below so we can discuss them.
