Rightly The Returning Number One

Rob Elliot returned instantly as the number one when he was fit again and this was the right call to make, according to the majority.

By gaining 68% of the vote in a recent Vital Charlton Poll (from Charlton Addickt) most felt that making an instant return as our goalkeeper was the right call to be made by Phil Parkinson.

Ross Worner (pictured) had deputised well and could consider himself unlucky to be replaced instantly and 16% felt that he deserved to retain his place with the remainder thinking that the best goalie would get the nod, as proved the case really as Elliot is the better of the two really isn't he?

The full round up of that poll can be found on the view all polls section to the right just above the current poll, which of course needs your vote!

What is the thought among the Addicks followers on this site on this polls findings? Did you agree or disagree? Share these feelings below so we can discuss them.

Worner was unlucky to be dropped in favour of Elliot but Robbie is our top keeper so we had to go back to him.

Totally agree with Rufus. But I also think Ross looks a good GK. Elliot can be clumsy and stupid at times

Worner looks sharp, agile, athletic and a great shot stopper....so a good signing, and will get a few more games to impress...needs to work on his punched clearances though...tends to topple over!!!
