Old Boy Relishing Valley Return

Grant Basey will make his return to The Valley shortly when Barnet come to SE7 for the FA Cup first round replay, and he's looking forward to this.

Having been with Charlton from the age on eight until last summer when he was released the 21-year-old admits that he'll find it a bit odd, Basey told The Times: "It's a bit strange playing against your old mates. I was there (at Charlton) since the age of eight but the boys are buzzing.

"I'm looking forward to going back to The Valley. It's a fantastic place to play football."

Charlton are the favourites to win this replay, however The Bees will be looking to cause an upset and the defender feels that they can. We'll soon find out!
