Sodje's Christmas Break

Many footballers would love to have Christmas off to spend with their families, however Akpo Sodje's chance to do this has come about in a way he wouldn't have wanted.

The striker picked up a shoulder injury in our Johnstone's Paint Trophy defeat against Brentford that will mean him sitting out the festive and New Year period, as a scan confirmed the Nigerian will be on the sidelines for three weeks.

Sodje hasn't played as much of a part in our season as he would've liked with most of his performances coming from the substitutes bench so this is another setback for him, even if Phi Parkinson should have enough resources to cover this loss.

What is the thought among the Addicks followers on this site on Akpo Sodje's injury? Share these feelings below so we can discuss them.
