'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Result: Bournemouth 0-1 Charlton

Charlton left it late to come away from Bournemouth with victory but victory is indeed what they managed to further strengthen not only their promotion bid but title aspirations.

Bournemouth's own promotion bid needed them to collect a victory really but neither side could manage a first half breakthrough.

The game was destined to end in a goalless draw until Yann Kermorgant (90+2) struck in injury-time to extend Charlton's lead at the top of the league one table and move them a step closer to a return to championship football next season.
