Euell returns to Charlton

Jason Euell has returned to Charlton following the end of his loan with AFC Wimbledon.

35-year-old Euell was always scheduled to return to The Valley to help Charlton in their final push towards promotion and he does this with thanks, as he told the official AFC Wimbledon website, from Terry Brown: 'I would like to thank Jason. He has come in and worked hard.

'The plan was always for him to come here and then go and celebrate Charlton winning League One. Hopefully, he will go back and have a successful period there as he has done well for us.'

Euell, who is out of contract with Charlton at the end of the season, isn't ruling out a future return to Wimbledon though: 'there is no reason why I would not want to come back here. I love the club and the fans, but I have to wait and see what happens with Charlton in the summer.'
