Championship Line Up Complete

A dull League One Play-Off Final was settled by a topsy-turvy but ultimately thrilling penalty shoot-out.

A game where chances were at a premium ended 0-0 after extra-time. Despite missing their first three penalties Huddersfield could, amazingly, have won after the statutory five kicks as Sheffield United failed to convert their second, third and fourth kicks.

The Blades managed to level the scores with their fifth effort, then both sides converted their next five attempts, leaving just the keepers to try their luck.

Alex Smithies just managed to beat Steve Sorensen's despairing dive before the roles were reversed. Unfortunately for United, Sorensen fired over the bar and Huddersfield's eleven year stay in League One was over.

The Terriers will be confident of having a successful season in the Championship.
