'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Lucky Number

Jonjo Shelvey's won his first England cap when he came on as a sub midway through the second half. Charlton are thought to have a clause that triggered an extra payment when Shelvey won his first cap.

Shelvey fitted in well against admittedly poor opposition and looked at home on the international stage.

England's comfortable 5-0 win, plus the 0-0 draw between Moldova and Ukraine puts the Three Lions in the driving seat for qualification for the next World Cup. Victory in Warsaw against Poland on Tuesday would put England in a commanding position in Group H.
