One Four Boro

Clinical finishing by Middlesbrough saw them romp to a 4-1 win at The Valley on Saturday. Rob Hulse gave Charlton the lead but strikes by Woodgate, McDonald,Ledesma and Smallwood gave Boro their sixth consecutive away win in all competitions.

It does not gwt any easier for the beleaguered Addicks with Cardiff arriving in SE7 on Tuesday. Chris Powell will need to lift his troops quickly.

Young striker, Michael Smith, has joined Newport County on loan.
