Addicks Held At Home

The game was played on a soft pitch with rain pouring down. For the second week running, the Addicks played an opponent reduced to ten men in the first half. Huddersfield's Keith Southern was dismissed for a challenge on Michael Morrison.

A sweeping move involving Jackson, Fuller and Pritchard ended with Rob Hulse having a simple chance to give Charlton the lead.

The hosts, marshalled by Emmanuel Frimpong in midfield, looked to be on course for a fourth straight win but when Frimpong went off with cramp, Huddersfield came more into the game.

When Hamer misjudged a cross two minutes from time, Solly was penalised for a high kick when contesting the ball with Peter Clarke. Adam Clayton converted the resultant penalty to earn the visitors a point.
