Charlton beat Watford 4-3 in a thriller at Vicarage Road on Tuesday. Watford twice led, 1-0 and 3-2, with goals from Purdil, Abdi and Geijo.
Yann Kermorgant, Johhnnie Jackson plus own goals from Hoban and Cassetti gave the visitors the edge. Lawrie Wilson sustained a broken nose and Leon Cort succumbed to the club's hamstring jinx.
Rob Hulse and Emmanuel Frimpong have returned to their parent clubs after their loan spells.
