Bristol Bound

Bristol Bound

Scott Wagstaff is closing in on finding himself a new club following his release by Charlton this summer.

After so many years with the Addicks the difficult decision was made by Chris Powell to release the 21-year-old, with him thinking it fairer on the midfielder if he went somewhere to play regular first team football to better aid his development.

Bristol City would seem to be his destination with Sky Sports "understanding" that Wagstaff will have a medical with the League One side today ahead of signing a deal with them.
