Stewart Stalking Pays Off!

Stewart Stalking Pays Off!

Remember on transfer deadline day I said that Charlton were "stalking" Cameron Stewart?

I agreed then that perhaps that wasn't the right term to use in relation to their chase of the Hull man, but the reports of an interest were proven true.

Having failed to breakthrough at Man United he eventually moved onto Hull in 2011, but has since spent loan spells with Burnley and Blackburn with him making just one appearance for the Tigers this season since they made it into the premier league.

Stewart has ability, perhaps he can't quite cut it at premier league level (and injuries have been cruel to him) but at championship level the winger can certainly do a job so should be a shrewd deadline day move by Chris Powell.

An initial spell until January 2nd has been agreed for the 22-year-old who will add another dimension to the Charlton attack won't he?
