'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Team News v Oxford

Finally, at the third time of asking, Charlton are poised to take on Oxford in the FA cup third round tie on Tuesday night.

Having been postponed back along, the rearranged game last week also had to be postponed as did the weekend game with Barnsley to much disappointment! Finally, having been given the go ahead after a pitch inspection on Monday afternoon, the team will do battle at the Valley.

It's not 100% certain the game will go ahead mind, another pitch inspection takes place on Tuesday....

Astrit Ajdarevic looks set to play a part but a hamstring injury will see Marvin Sordell miss out with Lawrie Wilson doubtful due to the same problem.

Leon Cort's knee will keep him out again but Michael Smith is cup-tied after turning out for AFC Wimbledon during his loan with them last year.
