Young Guns.

Young Guns.

There seems to be air of optimism surrounding the Valley in the shape of one Zak Ansah. This young man from Arsenal was never giving the chance to shine, but now Charlton have come to the rescue and signed him on a two year contract. Great? At last someone has put pen to paper, which is good news is't, Wrong? Yes he has signed on the dotted line to commit to us for two years, but not to feature in the first team but in Jason Euell's Under-21 squad possibly until nearer to the end of this season. I'm baffled by this supposing talent playing his Football in front of a none existing crowd when surely the bigger stage would benefit him more right from the onset. There are an awful lot of bad comments on face book regarding this young man, makes me wonder what sort of supporters are we bringing in to our game at the Valley. We need an influx of young Players who will play alongside o! Your more matured Professional it will not only help them to mature but it will drive forward the older team mates who's legs are not pushing them as hard as they used too. Changing slightly, I'm turning my attentions to another player who has giving his services by extending his contract to 4 years which is really good news. The player I'm making reference too is Nick Pope. He has done well at York City keeping a clean sheet nearly halve the season, he will be a good asset and replacement from a now departed Hamer. The future is starting to look a little brighter for this Family club, with the new playing area being up and running, the possible incoming of a further 3 players, a manager who I hope will manage the players to get the best out of them with no interference from Roland which spelled the end of C.P and put an end of Jose Riga ever retaining his managerial spot that he so desperately wanted to continue.
