Charlton v Standard Liege - FRIENDLY

At 8:30 tonight Charlton will kick off their pre-season with a 45-minute match against Standard Liege.

A highly anticipated match tonight, the two giants in the Duchatelet network will go head to head which should be a fantastic affair between the two even though we will only see 45 minutes of our beloved Charlton side.

We come in to this with two new trialists, Andre Bikey and former Barnsley midfielder Tomasz Cywka who could easily be playing for the Addicks next term, I strongly believe that Bikey will be part of our new look squad next season but im not confident that Cywka will be part of the revolution.

The man I am looking forward to seeing play the most is Franck Moussa.
Moussa who scored 14 goals for Coventry last season just proves of what kind of impact he can make in midfield and also showing he can really be a threat to the oppositions defence, he also won the goal of the season for League 1 with a stunning lob against Leyton Orient which the keeper had no chance of getting to, seriously look up the goal it really is pure class.

I would love to see some of the players that have fallen down the pecking order at the Valley such as Pitor Parzyszek who we only saw for a couple minutes last season at the Valley as he came on as a late substitute against Birmingham replacing Diego Poyet.

Also another player we haven't seen much of which is none other than Loic Nego.
Nego came in to the team while Chris Solly was out with a long-term knee injury and Nego came in as cover, unfortunately for him Lawrie Wilson came out and made some blinding performances at right-back keeping Nego on the bench after just one appearance, we have to give players like this a chance but many Charlton fans don't believe he has what it takes to become a first team regular, if he plays today we might have a glimpse of what he has to offer to Charlton but it could really go either way for him.

So after this game if Charlton win what will Roland do about his beloved Standard Liege?
Will be get more on Charlton's side if we win? All us Charlton fans really hope so!
