Charlton Sign Stephen Henderson.

Our eighth summer signing is none other than goal keeper Stephen Henderson as he signed on a three-year-deal on Monday morning.

Henderson told the club website
"I am very excited and cant wait to get started. I`m delighted to get it done. It was a pretty sharp move and I`m very happy to be here"

The Irish keeper has represented many team at many levels including, Portsmouth, Aldershot, Yeovil and even Weymouth, some of those team don`t rally up to the experience and skill you need to play in the Championship but at least Henderson has a lot of experience so he can become a mentor to young Nick Pope as he shoots through the ranks here at Charlton .

So will this exprirenced keeper be used for the progression of Nick Pope or is he a serious signing, is he the new Bob Bolder or Dean Kiely lets see what Henderson has to offer.
