'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Bob Peeters-Post Match Interview.

Peeters was more than happy with the result last night and we defiantly did one hell of a job and also what was expected from a team of our profession.

Peeters told the club website "It is the first home game so you want to show something to the fans and I think at times we did well, but we need to pass the ball a little bit more to create chances.
That is what I told them at half-time. I said you don`t need to kick it long if you have a big pitch, you need to pass the ball to create chances.
We did that better in the second half and scored two good goals from our passing game.
I`m happy with the clean sheet and happy that at this moment we don`t have any injured players.
I think the fans had a good night. We did well at Brentford but didn`t win the game, which is the most important thing, we need to be humble. I am very happy with a lot of young guns who played today, including Joe Gomez who is a very good player and I know I can count on him now.
He made his debut at The Valley before a good crowd and I am very happy with him, but all the players showed me that if something happens then I can count on them. That, for me, is very important along with the clean sheet and four goals."

After that im sure more fans have the faith in Bob Peeters I know for sure my faith and rescpect has gone straight up as we move to a big test against Wigan on Saturday be there, oh and bring your sister!
