Is Bent Out For 4 Weeks???

Many internet sites are reporting that the star striker could miss a whole month through injury. The number ten fell awkward on his knee during a first half attempt against Villa at The Valley on Saturday.

Although he did receive attention from the Charlton Physio, the England striker played on and scored the Addicks equaliser with a diving header. He did limp off at the end after the 2-1 victory but it didn`t look too serious. Now it has to be seen whether he will play against Arsenal at The Emirates Stadium tonight.

It would be a massive blow if we lose Benty for 4 weeks as he has just found his scoring boots again. If however he is ruled out with injury Alan Pardew will try and sign a striker during this months transfer window, with Southend`s Freddie Eastwood a likely target.
