Match Day Officials v Gillingham (17/4/17)

The Football League have now announced the Match Day officials that will take charge of the game against Gillingham this Monday.

Charlton Athletic host Gillingham on Monday April 17 for the game at The Valley and the match carries a 3pm kick off.

Referee: Brett Huxtable
Linesmen: Steven Plane and Christopher Kidd
Fourth Official: Aji Ajibola

Match Day referee Huxtable is new to the Football League in 2016/17 having spent last year in the National Conference.

So far this season he has officiated 36 games with a return of 130 yellow cards and four red cards.

His highest card count this season so far was eight yellows in the game between Yeovil Town and Colchester United. Seven yellows and one red were shown in the game between Oxford United and Oldham Athletic.

He took in 20 matches in 2015-16 and in those games, across all competitions and football divisions, he handed out a total of 37 yellow cards and one red card.

Let`s hope it`s not another repeat and more of our players edge closer to automatic bans.
