The Football League have now announced the Match Day officials that will take charge of the game between Charlton Athletic and Bury this Saturday.
Charlton Athletic host Bury on Saturday September 23 for the game at The Valley and the match carries a 3pm kick off.
Referee: Dean Whitestone
Assistant Refs: Thomas Ramsey and Andrew Williams
Fourth Official: Michael Webb
Match Day referee Whitestone has officiated nine games in 2017/18, showing 23 yellow cards and one red card so far.
He took in 43 games in 2016/17 with a return of 119 yellow cards and three red cards.
He took charge of 39 matches in 2015/16 and in those games, across all competitions and football divisions, he handed out a total of 119 yellow cards and two red cards.
He was most card happy in the match between Bristol Rovers and Mansfield in March, with eight yellows being shown. Prior to that Colchester and Scunthorpe in August saw seven yellows being shown and he also showed seven in the game between Middlesbrough and Blackburn in February.
Let`s hope it`s not another repeat and more of the players edge closer to automatic bans.
