Fosu In Team Of The Week (3/10/17)

Fosu In Team Of The Week (3/10/17)

Charlton Athletic are represented in the latest Football League team of the week that has been selected after this week's action.

The performance by Tariqe Fosu in the three one victory over Fleetwood Town at the weekend at Highbury Stadium was enough to earn them a place in the side alongside the other most impressive performers in the Football League pyramid.

I think we'll already know ourselves, and not just based on the latest performance, why Fosu was selected as part of the team but explaining the choice - the FL blurb read.

'The first name down in this week`s selection, Fosu guaranteed himself a place by scoring a perfect hat-trick against Fleetwood Town. Putting Charlton in front with a close-range header, the midfielder showed skills and pace when adding two more either side of the break.'

It's always good to see the club represented in this way, and well played to Fosu for his recognition, but the most important thing about the weekend was of course the win.

Full Team:

Mark Oxley (Southend United), Ethan Ebanks-Landell (MK Dons), Matt Preston (Swindon Town), Nathaniel Knight-Percival (Bradford City), Kamil Grosicki (Hull City), Tariqe Fosu (Charlton Athletic), Jack Payne (Oxford United), James Maddison (Norwich City), Ivan Cavaleiro (Wolverhampton Wanderers), Danny Rose (Mansfield Town), Jayden Stockley (Exeter City).

Manager - Leonid Slutsky (Hull City).
