Marcus Bent - What A Waste

His debut wasn't so bad. Marcus came on in the second half of our match against Chelsea and scored a well taken header. He rose like a salmon and beat both John Terry and the keeper and scored a good debut goal.

Since then Marcus has done nothing. He has never been the fans favourite player and will always be in the shadows of Darren Bent. Considering both Bent's cost the club the same amount of cash it shows just how much we wasted on Marcus.

To be fair when he has played recently he has put in a lot of work and plenty of running but he doesn't score goals.

Currently Marcus is all over the papers being snapped out on the lash with new girlfriend Danielle Lloyd. Teddy Sheringham ditched her after her bullying on TV`s big brother show.

Id sooner have Teddy in a Charlton shirt than Marcus any day.

Maybe if Marcus' goal rate was as good as his bit of skirts` looks we would be looking at Europe instead of relegation.
