KIT UPDATE

Charlton will keep the current red strip as there home kit for the 2007/08 season.

The current black away kit will be demoted to third kit with a new design becoming next season`s away strip.

The e-mail is below:

Dear Dave,

The current away kit will continue into next season as a third kit.

We will launch a new design away kit in the summer which will be used at many of the away games where required, but the black kit will be used at certain games and where necessary. It will continue to be registered as current kit and will still be available in -store.

The home kit will remain the same for next season as part of our promise to keep the design for two years.

Hope this answers the question fully.

Regards

Michael Rea

Head of Retail

Many thanks Michael and let's all hope that next seasons away kit will be used in The Premiership and not the fizzy pop league ;-)

I think the black shirt is one of our best designs in ages. Id expect the new away kit to be white and then the third kit (black) to be worn when we play teams like sheff utd/sunderland.

I just hope it's not a yellow kit! I couldn't stand the last yellow one.

My fav kit is the ecru one we had during our first season up. Without a doubt one of the best kits ever been in the prem and it was only made by Le Coq Sportif. Have always been impressed with the joma brand, but bugs me why we always get small kit makers. Would love to see a nike, adidas, puma etc.

The black kit and last years white kit have been the best two in recent away kits. agreed the creme one was also nice.

I think Mark is right the away kit will be of a white colour. Thus allowing the black to be a neutral third kit.
