Fans: Bent Should Stay
Vital Charlton's most recent poll asked, 'Should we sell Darren Bent?' The majority feel he should NOT be sold.
A massive 62% of the votes want the club to keep hold of Benty. It would give us a far greater advantage over any other side in The Championship if we had the England International with us.
The lad owes Charlton Athletic nothing and he has been one of the best signings the club has ever made. £2.5m was a bargain and if the club was to allow him to leave this summer the price is expected to be over 5 times the amount we paid Ipswich.
So the fans want us to keep Bent but the board may well have different ideas.
