'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Hermann To Follow Jimmy?

BBC Sport is reporting HH could be on his way out of The Valley. The Icelandic international defender's present deal runs until 2009 but he could still be leaving this summer.

The 32-year-old has a clause in his contract which allows him to leave the Valley for nothing following Charlton's relegation from the Premiership, or so the BBC says.

It is the fourth time hot headed Hreidarsson has been relegated from the top flight after also going down with Crystal Palace, Wimbledon and Ipswich.

Hreidarsson has more than 50 international caps and has been a big favourite with the fans.

He managed to make more than 30 league appearances, this season and found himself playing more central after we signed Ben Thatcher from Man City.

I hope we don't lose Hermann if he wants Premiership football then fair enough but we must try and get a fee for him. However we may have no choice and he could be off for nothing.
