Who Will Give Us £15m For Darren?

Darren Bent has been linked with just about every Premiership club so far, but who will get him?

Every newspaper tells a different story. So far Darren Bent is travelling south to Portsmouth to join Harry Redknapp. Then he will head back to London to sign for Chelsea, Arsenal, Spurs, West Ham and Fulham. He will then go North as Martin O'Neill will offer £10 million at Villa or he could join Big Sam's Magpies instead. But Roy Keane also fancies our number 10 for new boys Sunderland. Last on the agenda is Liverpool as Rafa looks to shape his European finalists squad. I`m getting tired with all this, can someone please tell me where Darren is going?

Whatever happens it looks likely that Benty will move on. If he wants to fully establish himself at International level he needs Premiership football.

He doesn't owe us anything and the big wedge of cash Pards will be handed when he moves will be spent wisely to build a side capable of winning the Championship next season.

Bent signed a new 5 year deal when Dowie joined us last year and so any interested club will have to pay big to get our club captain.

The one deal that does appeal to me as a Charlton fan is the offer of £10 million and Scott Carson from Liverpool. All Charlton fans would be happy with that considering Benty will be making a step up in his career and not a side step by joining a club like West Ham. That way we get £10 million and a decent goal keeper. Carson was superb this year and he is more than welcome to come back to The Valley.

So come on Rafa get that cheque book out and send Scotty down to us for his medical. After all you`re getting one of the best young English goal scorers available and we will in return give Carson a decent new home.

I think that deal suits both parties, but of course that`s only if Darren is happy. Transfer deals there hard work you know! No wonder why football agents all live in big houses.

Let him go to Liverpool for 10 big ones and Carson. That would be a decent bit of business

Is Carson woth £5million? 12 and Carson would be more of a deal. We also seem to get done on transfers.
