Romm Runs To Ajax

Dennis Rommedahl has signed a three year deal with Ajax according to the Dutch giant`s website.

The super speedy winger has never lived up to expectations while at Charlton and an exit was always on the cards.

The Denmark international had already told press in his homeland that he wouldn't stay at The Valley after relegation.

Charlton have allowed him to leave for 1m euros, around £680,000

The 28-year-old passed a medical at the Amsterdam Arena and has agreed a three-year contract.

Rommedahl has spent the last three years in England at Charlton and he now heads back to Holland where he has already played for PSV Eindhoven and RKC Waalwijk.

Good riddance if you ask me. He spent more time on the floor than on his feet and he was the biggest bottler I`ve seen where the shirt in recent seasons.
