Mcleod Deal Done

Charlton have announced the signing of Izale Mcleod from MK Dons.BR>
After weeks of speculation Charlton have finally wrapped up the signing of Izale Mcleod. The MK Dons hit man passed a medical at The Valley yesterday.BR>
McLeod, 22, joins for an initial fee of £1.1m - which could rise to £1.55m - and has signed a four-year deal. BR>

Alan Pardew confirmed earlier this week that he wanted another striker to join the squad and after failing to attract Andy Cole, Pards has landed Mcleod.

The England U21 star has been banging in goals for fun in recent seasons and Pardew believes he can make the step up and carry on his trade to help the Addicks to promotion.

McLeod, managed 24 goals last season as he was named the League Two player of the year.

The youngster has scored 54 league goals in 105 starts for the Dons since signing from Derby County three years ago.
He will join summer recruits Luke Varney, Chris Iwelumo and Svetoslav Todorov as the new strikers in Alan Pardew`s new-look strike force. BR>
What do you think of the signing of Mcleod? Can he help push us back up to The Premiership?
