Stockport At Home In The Cup


Charlton will face Stockport County at The Valley in round 2 of the Carling Cup.

As one of the seeded clubs, the Addicks had to wait to learn the identity of their opposition, in tonight`s live draw.

But Trevor Francis, who was drawing out the balls, eventually picked out the League Two side, who knocked out Tranmere Rovers to reach the next round.

The tie will take place around the midweek of Wednesday, August 29th.

some stockport fans already unhappy with the draw...i am happy with this one....a cup run wont hurt the club in many ways...so keep it up lads!!!

No i think it's harsh on their fans having a london game in the midweek surely the league should look at this, they complain about low attendances, what do they expect?
