'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Faye To Go?

Faye joined the club last summer from Newcastle and has done a decent enough job for the reds.

Birmingham City have been linked with the former Portsmouth man all summer, and Alan Pardew has confirmed he could well leave the club sometime this month.

The Valley boss has insisted there is still a place at The Valley for the non fussy engine-roomer.

But he has warned Faye that if his not 100% committed he will be sold and replaced.

Pardew said: 'There are clubs interested in him - and my view of Amdy is that if his focus is somewhere else then we'll take that opportunity to replace him with somebody else'.

'If he stays then we know we've got a player who has been good enough in the past to play in the Premier League."But he has become a Championship player and his focus has to be on that with us.'

Pardew was talking to the official website www.cafc.co.uk

Semedo looks as good as Faye anyway. He hasnt played yet this season and tells its own story. Think he will be gone next week. Who will we bring in to replace him?
