Pards: Faye Could Still Go

Charlton manager Alan Pardew has said that midfielder Amdy Faye may no longer be an Addick come Saturday's match at Palace.

Faye is still the subject of strong speculation linking him with a move away from SE7.

The midfielder has struggled since arriving at Floyd Road after his £2m arrival from Newcastle. Another brilliant Dowie buy!

With a little over 30 hours left until the transfer window slams shut, Charlton boss Pardew still doesn't know if he will stay or go.

He said: 'Amdy Faye is a player who could possibly move today or tomorrow.

'We've looked at him and I think his focus at the moment is a little bit split.

'He wants to play in the Premier League and his pedigree suggests it is where he should be playing and his game is probably more suited to it than the hurly burly of this division.

'But if he stays, he will understand he can still have a good career here, so I'm pretty cool about it and we will wait to hear who comes in for him.'

Personally I hope he does clear off. He's never hit it off with the fans and if his heart is not in it, then get rid.

Looks like he will go to Bimingham. If we can get any of the original fee back its a big bonus.
